Event Description
We are pleased to have as our speaker Paul Armstrong of Smiling Sun LLC. The topic will be two-fold: the use of native plants in the landscape; and organic supplements and other products. The use of native plants (shrubs, trees, and flowers) in the landscape is a logical extension of organic gardening since they are adapted to the local environment and thus need less care. Paul Armstrong has an extensive background in actually installing native plant landscapes and he will share that knowledge. In addition, he will discuss various organic supplements and pest/disease control products that will help to maintain a productive garden.
