Event Description

Inviting all Well-Fed Neighbors to the First Annual Well-Fed Neighbor Picnic Saturday, May 15, from noon until 8:30 pm, at Larry and Jackie Melton's Farm north of Springfield on HWY KK, directly across from N Farm Road 181. Go North on Glenstone to KK and go right or go North on 65 to KK and go left. Right at the Intersection of KK and 181. We are going to have a great day! The plan is to have Joe Maxwell and Russ Kremer on site, a pig in the ground, donated by Joe, processing donated by Russ, status updates, announcements, and surprises. The plan is to have spiratic entertainament as well. Bring a dish covered dish or two, your beverages (No alcohol please, this is a family event) and all things necessary for your comfort including something for the bugs, something for the sun, etc. Please bring seats, pop-up tents, blankets, etc. It will be a family event so everyone must be on their best behavior. The event will start promptly at noon and end at 8:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you there. I'll update if any new info becomes available.

The Event has been rescheduled for June. We will have an exact day soon. It is just too wet. I'm sorry for the delay but it will be worth it. Thank you for planning on being here. We are looking at Mid June fo the redo.

Yep, the ground is a bit soft - well really soft, and there is still a lot of work to be done to make this a great event that will be most enjoyable for everyone so backing the event out to June will really help us have things in better shape. Be sure and adjust your schedules to try to be here in June. And if you would like to help prepare, just contact Galen.
