Well Fed Neighbor

Local Food. Local Jobs.

Fall Events for local food sales, entertainment, education and the like... what say you?

Would you all be interested in some fall events involving music, fresh food, a little education, and a lot of laughing, friendship and fun? Don't
know how to find out other than to ask. Let me know and thanks, in
advance, for the time.

Heck, yeah!
Absolutely! I'm a bit limited in how often I can come down there, due to car problems, but hopefully I'll have it repaired soon and be able to join in a bit more often. But yes, I'm always for anything which brings people face-to-face and builds community cooperation and friendship. :-)

Hi Ruell, This is Natalie, coordinator for TimeBank in Eureka Springs. I have been posting a lot of your information on our Ning site http://estimebank.ning.com/ and talking up WFNA to our TimeBank members a lot. We have a nice little Farmer's Market here of which another of our TimeBank coordinators, Patrice Gros, is one of the main farmers. There are also a couple of 501C3s here which are interested in producing more local organic food. SO...I am hoping that you or someone from WFNA could come and give a talk to our TimeBank and guests (we would like to get someone from the City administration there too) sometime this Fall or winter, if you can. We will probably make it a TimeBank event, perhaps show a movie too, like http://www.organicconsumers.org/articles/article_21468.cfm We are going to discuss it at our next TB meeting. What do you think? Thanks for all you do!!
I would love to. 417-848-6543, ruellchappell@gmail.com

OOVVDA Winery would be a good site for this type of venue and then wines produced from local fruits and grapes could be part of the fun as well as croquet, bocce & Kubb yard games for those interested.
Great! Thanks Ruell. I have sent your reply out to the other TimeBank coordinators, and will let you know when we come up with a possible date. If you have any suggestions re time, date, please let me know. It would probably work best for us on a weekday evening, or possibly a weekend afternoon. Thanks again!
Here's another good online video, about backyard chickens:

yes you bet , the more we have the better......... invite your freinds and neighbors...
Our family would be very interested. In fact our daughter performs with a clogging team, they've performed in several places including the Dixie Stampede, and if you are interested, they might be able to be a part of your plans. Just let me know and I will forward you on to their coordinator.
I am interested. Let's keep it a family event. Thanks
Sounds wonderful
I sure would. Let me know when and where.
