Has anyone heard when Memory Lane milk will reopen in Fordland?  We are looking forward to their local milk.

That's great! Thanks for the information.

I just spoke to one of the owners of Memory Lane, and she said they were just waiting on the inspectors to sign off on the new facility. She said they hoped to be open in the next two weeks or so. That was as of today, May 24th, 2010.

Since we used to buy all our milk there, we've been waiting and waiting.
Just heard from a friend of mine that Memory Lane is back in Price Cutters. She said the chocolate had already been wiped out!! :D So glad to hear it's back!! :))
That's great news! I'll look at my local market or stop at their store.

Thanks,
Kerri

I drive by the Memory Lane store on my way to work every day. I haven't seen any sign that the store itself is open and the parking hasn't been set up. You might want to check if they are really open before driving out there.

I'll try to see if I can find anyone local who knows. Glad you can find it in the grocery store.
I have not seen Memory Lane back in the stores. But some stores are selling Ozark Mountain Creamery milk in the same glass bottles. They are out of Mt. Grove. We just bought some of their chocolate milk and my daughter said it was amazing. I haven't tried it yet.
I had my friend call me and her husband is a mgr at Price Cutters and they had a delivery today. They should be opening the fordland store soon but they are stocking a couple of stores the first few bottlings. They sold their milk to enfamil while they were rebuilding. I have 8 deposits that I have been holding since the tornado and our house got hit by the same tornado just not as bad. I am super excited.
That's good to hear. We live in Rogersville, so we like to get it at Apple Market but would make a trip to the store if it opened before they begin restocking Apple.

I have been holding on to 6 or 7 of the empty bottles myself. :D
Memory Lane Milk is now open for business at their Fordland location. You may want to check with them for their hours. I know they were closed on Wednesday, but my husband went by there this morning (Thursday) and bought a gallon of milk. I think he said they were open Mondays and Tuesdays, closed Wed, then open Thursdays and Fridays. Since they just re-opened, they may adjust the schedule to meet demand.

Great! We'll have to drive out tomorrow. Their new barn looks great. I asked our Apple Market if they knew when they would begin restocking, but they didn't have a date yet.
