It has slowed way down but the site is rich in content, and worth promoting and adding input. Many people have moved to the country where the internet access is very limited now.

Hi Bill, my Broc started to freeze and died, but my cabbage, kale, spinach and arugula survived all winter. Our greenhouse is basically a reclaimed frame with plastic positioned over a 24 X 16 ft. raised bed...not heated at all.

Aubree, I will be interested to here how your broccolil and cabbage do through the winter ours lived last year but quickly bolted when the weather warmed and I pulled it. Is your greenhouse heated in any way?

I have some cabbages growing slowly, broccoli, chard, spinach, lettuce, radishes and arugula growing in my little greenhouse. Getting ready to plant new crops very soon.

Good news everyone. I still have cabbage growing out in the open air using it for winter chicken forage. Unfortunately they have developed a taste for the Garlic tops as well.

Have you been digging jeruslium Artichokes all winter?  Ours have worked out well and I finially figured ut how to cook them that Carolyn and I both like. Cut thin and Deep Fried.  With the mild winter our lettuce and spinach has done better than ever and I think it will go all winter.  What do you have growing this winter?
