HI! I just wanted to remind everyone of our first Green Drinks Social at the Farmer's Gastropub downtown THIS SUNDAY at 3 pm. I am looking forward to meeting everyone. Yeah...checked the website yesterday an am really excited about this international phenomenon. It looks like the perfect forum for the WFN clan and idea is definitely gathering momentum. See ya there...

Looking forward to meeting you Mimi ! I had never heard of Green Drinks until my sister told me about the one in Wichita Ks. (where she lives), She said "You would love this! This has YOU written all over it!" So we went to the Green Drinks website to learn more about it and I said "OH We have GOT to start one here in Springfield. This is my first time putting together anything like this but they say there has to be a first time before there can be a next time. I believe that Green Drinks will be a great platform for people to be able to make business contacts, raise awareness, and maybe even help get more people involved in learning how to make our planet a healthier one.
Again I am looking forward to seeing you there and don't forget to bring a friend.

Glad to see a new Green Drinks group organized in Springfield - and at an hour when I can possibly get there from time to time. A couple of years back, there was a Green Drinks group that had members of the Ozarks Green Building Coalition and several architects, landscapers, etc. I think the Bairds with Gladewinds might have been involved with that one and a few other WFN members. I think it no longer exists, but I could be wrong. No other Springfield group shows up on the site... Looking forward, Mimi
