Would like to be a Springfield garden guerrilla! Any people out there who would like to discuss raw food, nutrition etc? Im shooting for 75% raw in my fam's diet, I already feel better and both my husband and I have lost weight!! Need friends on this site. have none ....yet. Linda

I've got lots of yellow cherry tomato seeds; some yellow globe, and some Amish paste. Still have a little Hopi "blue" corn to swap etc., if  anyone can use it. 

Always looking for different and unusual seeds. Can't wait!

Hi every one, i wanted to inform you that a Seed Swap will be taking place at The Library Center on April 3, 2011 from 2:15pm to 4pm, im hoping that you will all join me at a guerrilla gardening table to hand out flyers and make seed bombs.

yes we are certainly out to beautify, as well as to grow food. Getting inner city gardening plots for the purpose of growing as much produce as possible is our goal but the beautification of our gardens is key in convincing the public that gardening is a wonderfully gracefull thing to see and experiance.

If you want to plant flowers, plant some edible ones. I have some Calendula seeds I saved from my plants last fall that grew like crazy. I also have Hopi Red Dye that looks very nice and is a very useful plant.

Pending weather, we'll be adding another 4 acres  ofgardens at the Gateway Farm [on hwy kk. ]Solar-powered Irrigation is planned and Greenhouses are going up soon. Any Well-Fed who wants to garden on a larger scale, or get involved at the Gateway community, can contact me for details.

Are we out to beautify, or plant food stuff? I can do either, if I have a heads up, can provide lots of perennial starts toward beautification...LOTS of perennial starts!

Hello all.

I'm somewhat new to gardening. Been doing it off and on for several years now but on a small scale.

I plan on getting a bigger, better garden going next spring and I would also like to build a small greenhouse to do starter plants so I can get things started earlier this year.

I've been trying to get some of the neighbors interested in gardening but it seems that most would rather ingest the foul stuff from the Big Box stores until the cancer sets in!
