"We raise sheep, goats, cows and chickens. Our goal is to become sustainable and be fully organic. We never use chemical, we only use antibiotics when necessary, and only use dewormers when necessary. With the rotational grazing going up next year,…"

"Hello, I don't like to give out too much info online. There are just too many PETA members out there. I've had friends who got hit by PETA after she advertised a horse online. They staged a fake 'rescue', several of her horses…"

It's spring! Farmers and Ranchers, what are you up to this season?

Now that we've entered Spring, the season of new growth, what does it find our Missouri growers doing?  Who's making progress expanding?  Who is starting fresh?  Who is trying something new, or maybe going back to something old?  What does everyone have their hands, shovels, tractors, hooves in?  Plug your projects here!See More

"Beautiful! What a wonderful idea! I am a big believer in shrinking communities into sustainable bits. In this nation we seem to always be biting off way more than we can chew. We then chew inefficiently. And then we have poor digestion. Then gas,…"

Herbal Medicine Crafters? Free Cherry Bark for cough syrup!

Hello! I don't know how close these trees are to "wild cherry", but I do know that is a strain that has been native to Missouri some time, passed to my parents from a friend who's parents had it who's parents had it and so on. It sure spreads like wild! :) And I can vouch…See More
