Service has been solid for us. We've been multiple times, different times of the day, different days of the week… every single time has been nothing short of fantastic. I'll miss this place when I move - and it may be the only thing in Springfield that I'll miss.
Worst service ever. Waitress asked for drink orders 3 times after we ordered food. One hour and twenty minutes. Still no food. Left. Waitress po'ed we didn't pay bar tab. 12.50. I got our first drinks from the bar and left $3 tip. Threw $15 on table and went to talk to owner. Owner wanted to fight. I guessed they had seating for 60+ IN THE PUB. There was food on 1 table and p/o'ed people at the others. This is a severe black eye and a blight on downtown Springfield. I will advise all contacts in business, civic and local government to avoid the place. Then they will go away. Felt sorry for the people going to the movie at the Moxie. and stopped in for a quick bite. Bet they think twice about where they go to see moves after this.
I was introduced to this restaurant January 23rd by a friend and after reading the article in the News-Leader I lunched at the Farmers Gastropub: Ham & Cheese Panini with aged cheddar cheese plus a cup of Winter Squash & Apple Soup. EXCELLENT! WiFi service no charge, open for coffee, etc at 9:00 lunch at 11:00. Hailey my waitress provided great service, while owner Bill Griffiths was very hospitable. I will be going back!
Welcome to Springfield's Shining example of a local business, utilizing local food in producing it's unique local fare!
Galen and I just ate the Roasted Chicken in Blush Sauce with Spatzle! It was delicious.
