Hello, Lincoln! I got my Jerusalem artichokes planted and am anxious to "bring in the crop!" Thank you for providing the tubers - so generous of you. I submit articles to the Friends of the Garden blog (http://friendsofthegarden.org/pblog/index.php) and wrote an article today, using further research I had done out on line and some of the facts mentioned in the information sheet you gave me. I was able to find out a bit about the speculation of how they came to be named "Jerusalem" artichokes and will be interested to see if others can offer differing suggestions... I believe George Deatz also posted it to our forum, so others may chime in with what they have heard... Thanks again, Mimi
