For the questions about community currencies I think John Rogers could give an answer to this. You can find him on

Thanks, Melissa!
for the 'heads up' to the 'Missouri Organic Association (MOA) Conference. I would love to go, but can't yet say whether or not I can make it to Columbia on the 6th. We are working hard on the co-op business plan, Ruells' music Tour starts soon, and we're looking at taking the 1,000 Gardens Project statewide. I can't wait to start working with you in St Louis- will call to give the details as they develop.

Melissa,
Thanks for your interest. Currently I deliver to the Springfield and Bolivar areas. I would certainly consider delivering to other areas, as long as it was worth the delivery costs. My pricing structure is somewhat complex because I offer a lot of options. I'll give you the quick version and for reference you can check it out at langfordfarms.org. We're working on a better website but langfordfarms.org has all the basic info. Prices are as follows.

Non-Working shares (requires no work, you just receive weekly delivery of vegetables)
Full (feeds approx 4) $575.00
Half (feeds approx 2) $325.00
Working Shares
Full (requires 6 man hours of work/mo, feeds approx 4) $425.00
Half (requires 3 man hours of work/mo, feeds approx 2) $250.00

We give a 5% discount if you want to pick up your veggies every week and we're offering a $20 refund for any newly referred full share member. $10 for half. I'd be happy to talk with you about this if you'd like more info. Feel free to check me out on langfordfarms.org. You can e-mail me at joe.langford@g-mail.com or feel free to call my home at 417-326-3328. Take care.

Melissa,

It looks like if we all get behind this, we can make a huge difference. Thanks for helping, and being a great leader!!!
