I feel sorry for those that have never known what it took me so long to understand as important. I am just now realizing how wonderful it was to have a garden, chickens, a lot of friends, and six…Continue

The Farm Bill has all to do with what is subsidized and what insurance is offered for. It's time some things changed. If you are a producer, a coop owner, a market owner or a consumer.... you need to know what your tax dollars are being spent on.

Hi Ruell --
Thanks. I have the list of some of the other fake spam names somewhere. I'll find it and send it. I'm not sure why they bug me so; maybe it's because all the REAL people involved here are so sincere, seem to be working hard at it, are committed to something -- and the fakes are none of those things. Anyway, thanks. LEE WORMAN
Warmly,

In regard to the concerns about too much government intervention and too much regulation, I would add this thought... Historically, we were so willing to give our authority to someone outside of ourselves. Government gladly stepped in and we let it. WFNA as was described at the summit will succeed because each family or business makes their own decisions, acts as their own authority and comes together to work interdependently for the betterment of everyone. That is not socialism, it is capitalism functioning at its best.
This is a timely idea, and will succeed because so many people are ready for the responsibility of this mission.
Thank you.
I got your e-mail addresses from Crater Critter postings by Larry Lewis of Osceola. My name is David Neuenschwander from rural Deepwater representing Valley Center United Church of Christ. We're roughly 15 miles north of Osceola (about 4 miles north of Lowry City), then just over a mile west of Hiway 13 at 930 NE 1126 Rd., a gravel road. Devore's Antiques is on the east side (right) of the crossroads where you turn west (left). There is a welcome sign on the southbound lanes. The church is on the left at the top of a hill. The church's phone number is (417) 644-7390 but isn't staffed. I don't expect we'll have more than 40 in attendance. 20 to 30 minutes would be great. The drive should take about an hour and a half. Services start at 9 am.
I can offer $40, if more is needed please let me know. Thank you for your consideration,
David Neuenschwander
