Wangari Maathai

"Today we are faced with a challenge that calls for a shift in our thinking, so that humanity stops threatening its life-support system. We are called to assist the Earth to heal her wounds and in the process heal our own – indeed, to embrace the whole creation in all its diversity, beauty and wonder. This will happen if we see the need to revive our sense of belonging to a larger family of life, with which we have shared our evolutionary process."

2004 Nobel Peace Laureate, Wangari Maathai

http://solcomint.ning.com/

Solidarity Economy aims at a restructuring of our mode of production and our lifestyles. Solidarity Economy satisfies concrete needs of human life by fostering societal self-realisation. It delegitimizes the motive of profit production, being able even to transcend the coercion of "covering costs". It's… Continue

Hi Sabine!

That film has some great ideas about where I am taking my agriculture but I think that the public in general is being misinformed about the supply of oil.  The Russians discovered years ago that if you drill deep enough that there is plentiful oil everywhere. It's often called abiotic oil.    The reason this is done is not hard to figure out. People can get rich if you make a plentiful product artificially scarce.  You can further steal money off of them and control them with so called very dishonest "carbon taxes"    Go ahead and start a thread and I will join in. I think people should be educated on this scam.
