The Missouri Restoration Tour to Debut at the Gilloiz January 30

Hello fellow Well-Fed Neighbor (WFN) members!

I was able to attend last Friday's WFN meeting in the Hummert Conference room, where the coffee was wonderful and the conversations were inspirational. If you are able to attend a Friday meeting some time, they run from 10 a.m. - approximately 12 p.m. every Friday morning (unless notified otherwise).

Fourteen members were present. They were:… Continue

Storage Space Needed

Well Fed Neighbor has a need for some short term storage space. Would anyone have a building or space(approx. 12X20) we could store some supplies in starting immediately. Items have been made available to WFNA that we need to pick up and store by Jan. 27th (this Wednesday). If we can't find a spot we will miss out. We could also use a box truck to move these items to a secure location. Please reply to this site or call Mark Hay at 417-849-7941.

Of particular note, the new design of the Farmers' Market Resource Library http://farmersmarketcoalition.org/resources/ includes a robust… Continue

2010 Victory Garden

It is a brand new year and already I have a new addiction, obsession, weakness. I can’t seem to shake it…Victory Gardens. There, I said it. I know it is really quite shocking. I’ve grown vegetables before. 2007 was the year of the tomato. I made wonderful spaghetti sauce that year. Family, friends and neighbors may remember 2008 as the year they were accosted with bags of long green lovely zucchini. Come to think of it…they were a little bit skittish around me until the Fall weather set in.… Continue
