I had a delightful telephone conversation with Betty Davis yesterday. Betty serves as the Local Society Liaison for the American Hosta Society http://www.americanhostasociety.org/ You can almost guarantee anyone serious enough to join a plant society can be labeled as a plant lover. No less can be said about Betty! In the course of our conversation I was referred to a list of seed, bulb, and supplier list she has assembled and was impressed enough with it's content to share it with you. One of the many benefits of being a part of a plant oriented society gives us the opportunity to share our experiences about plants and those we purchase plants from. Myself being a member of the Greater Ozarks Hosta Society, the Botanical Society of Southwest Missouri, The Friends of the Garden www.friendsofthegarden.org, and other national plant organizations gives me the opportunity to chat with plant lovers worldwide. Those interactions have led me to many new and unusual plants as well as introducing me to a wonderful collection of plant loving acquaintances.
