There are many things about gardening and food production that are beneficial.  However, the economics and the sustainability that floats all boats is my focus.  If we grow food and sell food locally, not only do we create local food security, we give birth to what will become a vibrant, sustainable, local economy with jobs, improved health and fuel usage reduction.  All this from growing and selling food locally!  Think about it! What do do?  Grow a garden... learn about food and teach your children.  Demand and buy locally produced food.  Demand local food. Demand local food. Demand local food everywhere you go.  This is the key.  Only an economic engine brings substantial, lasting change.  The legislative pen does not.
